HONEYMOONExactly one week after the wedding day, Nahid and I went on a four day honeymoon. Since we were unable to leave the country due to Nahid's permanent residency application process, we chose the beautiful and romantic city of Quebec as our relaxing getaway destination.
Nahid quickly fell in love with the old city of Quebec as it reminded her of the small town in France where she lived for almost a year.
We stayed in a very nice and cozy hotel right on the downtown strip where all the little cafe's and restaurants were located. Some of the exciting things we did were; we went on a tour of the entire city, went to a revolving restaurant which gave us a beautiful panoramic view of the city, enjoyed a romantic dinner cruise on the St. Lawrence River, etc.
On the way back we stopped in Montreal, where I took Nahid up to Mont Royal and showed her the gorgeous view of the city. I also took her to the Shrine (Maxwell Home) where Ruhiyyih Khanum lived and Abdul'Baha stayed.
